Could Kidsy Storage Units Be The Next Big Thing?

Brittni Straseske |

A local businesswoman is raising money to fund a new business venture: kid-friendly stackable storage bins. Jill Chumas-King of Eau Claire has started a page on kickstarter.com to raise the $150,000 she needs to market her bins. Not an easy feat in a short period of time, so help out if you can (just search “foam stackable storage”)! Designs for the bins show that they will be made out of sturdy foam material, making them different from others on the market. Chumas says the material also makes them safe for children. Chumas says the production and manufacturing of the bins will all take place in the US, and help boost our local economy. “When a small business asks for capital, it is not always just the business owner that benefits from the gift,” she says.
