(Infini)Tea from a Trailer

Thom Fountain |

Infinitea Teahouse recently launched its mobile tea cart a couple weeks ago, allowing them to bring all your favorite greens, blacks, and oolongs right to you. The cart, a bright green wooden box pulled by a bicycle and adorned with the Infinitea banner, will be present at all sorts of summer events in Eau Claire, Infinitea cofounder Jeff Mares said, including the farmers market, Blues in the Park, and more. “We realized there’s a lot of cool events in Eau Claire and people would go to them … but not necessarily trickle into downtown,” Mares said. While Infinitea’s downtown store still has much more variety to offer – more than 150 teas – the cart offers a small sampling that can be made hot or iced plus coffee from their Barstow Street neighbor Turk’s Head. “Obviously we’ll always mix it up and have fun with it because that’s what we’ve come to be known for.”
