Theater Arts professor emeritus Wil Denson is still writing and still getting props for his screenplays. Most recently, however, Denson’s script Feral has won him the top honors in the TrackingB Hollywood International Feature Film Screenwriting competition, one of the premier Hollywood screenwriting contests. Judges at TrackingB included representatives from major film companies including Intrepid Pictures, Lionsgate, and Bruckheimer Films. Denson’s script was chosen out of approximately 1,000 entries and he has just recently been signed by Caren Bohrman of the Los Angeles-based Bohrman Agency, one of the most successful and experienced agents in the film industry. Reportedly, he hopes Tommy Lee Jones will play the lead role, should his screenplay make it to celluloid.
