The face of modern cowboy hip-hop.

The Frozen River Film Festival will once again bring global experiences to Winona from Jan. 26 to 30 through films, discussions, workshops, and events that encourage attendees to become involved in issues that often receive little coverage. The films’ topics include personal reflections on environmental legacy, the effects of Cambodia’s genocide, a curious exploration of nephology (the study of clouds), plus a look into the lives of graffiti artists, cowboy hip-hop artists, and one man who climbs massive rock faces with no rope. Additionally, Fringe Friday will bring local businesses, community members, artists, and musicians together to celebrate and support the Theatre du Mississippi through arts and live entertainment. You can purchase tickets for individual films ($7) or buy a festival pass ($40-$50). Entry is free for children 14 and under. Tickets are available at Brown Paper For more information, visit FRFF.org.
