Dramatic, no? Yes.

If you still haven’t made New Year’s Eve plans, a new event just popped up that promises dancing, moshing, and cheese puffs. The multi-band extravaganza organized by Eric Bertrand will be going on at The Grand Little Theatre. Eric’s band, Down the Stairs, pumps out sounds that bounce back and forth between punk and metal and then ricochet off into other genres. The Twin Cities’ Violet Heartbreak promises to goth up the night with brooding alternative rock. Say! Goodnight Gracie from Woodbury, MN will likewise take the stage with their indie rock happy hardcore sound. CortD! will be laying their ska punk sound on the crowd, along with Tears of Ash, The Disabled, and Funeral Class. Other bands will be announced closer to the event. Nate from Nate’s Dungeon is in contact with musicians as we speak, and Bertrand has a couple of mystery bands in the wings. Bags and bags of free cheese puffs will be available at the event. If you want to know why, you should stop in and ask Bertrand to let you in on the secret.
