With New Guide, Finding Eldercare Gets Easier

Emily Diehl |

Nowadays health care can involve many loopholes and be pretty confusing. But Mary Zwygart-Stauffacher, interim dean and professor in UWEC’s nursing college, did her part to clear up the confusion by co-authoring a guide to long-term care for the elderly. The book, How to Find the Best Eldercare, is currently available in select bookstores such as Borders. The book details the available health care plans and options elders have, and reveals ways to research the best health care available. The authors hope the public finds the book to be helpful and that care facilities will use the book for their own guidelines to improve health services.
