Rivers Wash Over Me

I bet you’ll be able to find your “15 minutes of fame” in one of the films playing at this year’s LGBT Film Festival in Milwaukee. Andy Warhol hypes up the schedule with programs showing new-video technology and his exhibit, The Last Decade, in cooperation with Milwaukee Art Museum. From October 15-25, fans can enjoy the loads of narrative features such as Rivers Wash Over Me, where a gay New York City teen is sent to live with a family in the south after his mother dies. Or Training Rules, which looks at a superstar athlete who is kicked off her college basketball team for being a lesbian and decides to take action against her former coach and team. A lot of award-winning and fantastic stories take over this independent film festival. Visit its website for more information.
