Wine Tasting Helps Fund Community Table Relocation

Emily Kuhn

Attention, wine enthusiasts! The Community Table, an organization that serves over 100 hot meals every day to Chippewa Valley residents in need, will host a wine tasting event at the Coffee Grounds from 6-9pm on Thursday, July 30. “Set the Table” will help raise money for the non-profit organization, which is relocating from the Eau Claire Parks & Recreation building to a former warehouse near Banbury Place in August. Tickets to the event cost $75 dollars ($40 of which is a tax-deductible donation) and include hors d’oeuvres and wine samples from River Bend Vineyard and Winery and Autumn Harvest Winery and Zepaltas Wines, a California winery operated by Eau Claire native Ryan Zepaltas. A silent auction and acoustic guitar music will also keep wine tasters entertained. Tickets can be purchased at the Coffee Grounds and The Community Table, or by calling 835-4977.
