That Dress Is Literally Hot

Eric Rasmussen |

You can tell some people’s views on the environment by the way they look. Maybe a T-shirt slogan speaks to a conservation-minded dude or dudette. Perhaps an obvious lack of shampoo usage reveals a commitment to organic living. Now there’s a way to really wear your environmentalism – the Day for Night Solar Dress. This frock is made up of about 400 individual circuit boards (or more for those ladies that are looking for a little less thigh revelation) that can hold solar cells, LED lights, or other electronica. The whole thing can connect to a PC for additional configuration, and, of course, it can provide sun-induced and incredibly sassy eco-power. Until someone crafts a pantsuit made of kelp that can produce protective force-fields for polar bears, this dress is about as green as clothes get.
