Mike Quick Lets It Rain

Ian Jacoby |

To call Mike Quick a veteran musician is like telling Brett Favre he’s indecisive. It’s an understatement. Quick has toured the country multiple times, recorded a bunch with his “electric rock band,” The Mighty Bullfrogs, and won over the hearts of fans nationwide. Quick’s friends include perennial EC favorite, Howard “Guitar” Luedtke, and violin super-phenom Randy Sabien. Quick recently recorded a crazy good disc, Rain, with a bunch of his friends that harkens back to a simpler time in rock music. You know, before the uber-tight pleather pants. The disc has been getting rave reviews everywhere from WPR to national newsprint. Quick is playing lots of his new songs all around the area, and his live show is something to be seen. Quick’s strength is in his stage presence, which is obviously honed after 30 plus years of rocking faces clean off. Anyway, if you’re looking for some dynamic, clean, fun check out Mike Quick. He might just be the musical equivalent of a Powerade, thirst quenching and full of B-vitamins.
