If you scour the web long enough, you’re sure to stumble across some BOGO burger deals at local joints and daily specials on some meat-based dishes, but for my fellow carnivores out there looking to save a buck, I pulled together five deals in the area you should take advantage of ASAP.
1. Bottomless Bacon Night at Next Door Pizza Pub

2. $2 Smash Burgers at Golden Spike Bar & Grill
228 Division St., Altoona
No, that's not a typo: A smash burger at Golden Spike on a Monday is just $2. Add bacon for just $1 more or other toppings for just $0.50.

3. By-the-Pound Birria at California Tacos
329 Water St., Eau Claire
Take one pound of birria, 12 tortillas, one eight-ounce dish of consommé, and sides of onion, cilantro, and salsa to go for $18. You could eat all of this in one sitting at the restaurant, but if you're going to eat 12 birria tacos, you'll probably want to be horizontal on your couch at home immediately afterward. My advice? Take it to go, and do what you will in private.

4. The Michelle Special at Riverside Cafe
501 Water St., Eau Claire
You won't find the “Michelle Special” on the menu, so you're welcome to share this if-you-know-you-know deal. For $10, the Michelle Special gets you ramen stir fry with four pieces of shrimp, one boiled egg, and three slices of sausage all tossed in Riverside Cafe's house sauce. Wrapped up in tin foil, you can be on your way with meaty ramen stir fry in hand.

5. Pho Friday at Rice Palace Thai Cuisine
210 S. Barstow St., Eau Claire
It almost hurts me to further share this deal for all to see, but alas, I am a generous foodie. For $6.50, you can indulge in a large bowl of pho on Fridays at Rice Palace, and for my meat lovers, that means you can get a large bowl of combo pho: pho with beef, pork, meatloaf, meatballs, and shrimp.
